St. Weonards is on A 466 between Hereford and Monmouth. In travelling south take the first right after the village shop, go over the crossroads, follow the road down, then up, through Brinstone Farm yard, on down the hill to the bottom where there is an entrance to a field on the left. It is possible to park on a hard standing here. It is then a1/4 mile walk to the wood.
The cost is £120, which includes 50 rods of suitable hazel ( more than enough to make the 3' x 6' hurdle which you will be able to take away with you after the weekend), the loan of all the necessary
hand tools and the use of a mould to make the hurdle on. There will be a waterproof shelter, fire, kettle and coffee/tea. Please bring your own food, a pair of boots and waterproofs. Camping is not an option at the site, but I will be able to provide the names of two reasonable priced B&B's of excellent quality.
If you are interested please e-mail, write or phone to book a place. To confirm your booking please send £30 non-refundable deposit.
